Who is Sleepy Rye?
It's me, I am
I first dipped my toes into the recording world in 2007, recording drum covers and songs for crushes and school assignments. Now, as co-owner of AGL Sounds in Cherry Hill, NJ, I've started honing my ability to create natural, cohesive mixes that feel alive in any style. My musical influences range from Incubus and Coheed to Lianne La Havas and Snarky Puppy.
Beyond the desk, I'm also a session and touring drummer with a tuned ability to adapt. My musical philosophy is to serve the songs in whatever capacity. Whether the song calls to sit back or show out, I try to breathe life into every gig. |
